Prominent Real Estate Firm Selected to Lease and Manage Goldsboro and Hendersonville Shopping Centers
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Childress Klein, one of the Southeast’s largest commercial real estate firms, announced that they will be the exclusive leasing agent and property manager for a 590,000 SF portfolio of retail assets located in eastern and western North Carolina effective immediately. The properties are owned by Capitol Funds from Shelby, NC. They include Berkeley Mall and Berkeley Corner Shopping Center in Goldsboro, NC and The Fresh Market Shoppes in Hendersonville, NC.

Berkeley Mall is a 458,000 SF regional mall located on North Berkeley Boulevard in Goldsboro, NC. The mall is anchored by Belk, Belk Home & Children, J.C. Penney and Sears. It also includes a mix of national and regional brands such as Jo-Ann Fabrics & Crafts, Rue21, Daughtry Jewelers and Footlocker. Berkeley Corner, adjacent to the mall, opened in 2015. The 57,000 SF property is comprised of Dick’s Sporting Goods and PetSmart. The Fresh Market Shoppes in Hendersonville, NC is a 75,000 SF neighborhood shopping center located at the intersection of South Main Street and Spartanburg Highway. Along with The Fresh Market, the center includes Stein Mart and a recently opened PetSmart.
