Wilkinson Falls / Amazon’s Logistics Facility is a testament to Childress Klein’s expertise in meeting evolving customer needs. Originally intended as a 400,000 SF logistics facility for a long-standing client, the property underwent an extensive retrofitting and expansion in 2018 to cater to Amazon’s expanding operations.
The building now encompasses over 500,000 square feet and is equipped with cutting-edge technology, expansive warehouse space, and an extensive 14-acre paved area for trailer parking and loading. Meeting Amazon’s requirement for speedy occupancy, Childress Klein adeptly navigated multiple challenges to undertake parallel design and construction paths, leading to a fast-track occupancy schedule. Despite major reconstruction activities, the retrofitting was accomplished without compromise on quality or functionality.
