As a Managing Partner at Childress Klein, Amy is focused on strategic growth opportunities for the firm, as well as providing executive leadership. She is involved in CK’s investment strategies & management of key risks for our investors & clients.
With a focus on identifying strategic growth areas for CK, which leverage the firm’s development and acquisition expertise and comprehensive services, Amy brings her strong track record in both equity and debt real estate investing — having invested on behalf of some of the largest global institutional investors. Originally from Charlotte, she has lived and worked in London for more twenty years and her global experience in real estate investment management brings a unique perspective and complementary skill set. Amy is also closely involved in firm-wide investment strategies and decision making, as well as client/investor relationships and communication.
Prior to joining CK, Amy was Head of Debt & Value-Add Strategies at LaSalle Investment Management and was responsible for several of the firm’s largest funds. During her time at LaSalle, Amy raised c. €6.1bn of capital commitments for real estate debt and equity investments. She currently serves as the Executive Chair of Debt & Value-Add Strategies at LaSalle. In addition, she was named one of the 51 most influential women in UK Real Estate (Bisnow, 2018) and one of the top 10 ‘Women of Influence’ in PEI- Alternative Insight’s ranking of Private Debt specialists (2021). Earlier in her career, Amy worked in real estate investing and advisory at Merrill Lynch, JLL and Morgan Stanley.
