Modern Office Space Now Under development at Waverly
Charlotte, N.C. — Charlotte-based commercial developers Childress Klein and Crosland Southeast began construction on their six-story, 154,000-square foot office building today. The Hub is the first of two master planned office projects at Waverly, a 90-acre development near the intersection of Providence Road and Providence Country Club Drive in South Charlotte. The Hub is positioned near the main entrance of the property. General contractor, Shelco, LLC, is scheduled to complete construction in 2017.
“We are thrilled to begin this phase of development at Waverly,” commented Paul DeVine, office partner at Childress Klein.
“Waverly will fulfill the growing demand from businesses for a suburban location with an urban feel. We have carefully planned this project to ensure it provides the activity and vibrancy of Uptown while remaining close to employees’ homes.”
The Hub, designed by RJT+R, will be LEED® certified. The building will have an architectural precast and brick façade with high performance glass. Exposed ceilings, upscale modern lobbies and restrooms, a 4-level 840-space parking garage, and flexible floor plans make this property a desirable location for tenants of any size.
