Reimagining How People Work.
Looking to establish a new global headquarters in Charlotte, NC, Sealed Air — the Fortune 500 company who makes Bubble Wrap® and other packaging products — chose developers Childress Klein and the architects and designers at HOK to create a state-of-the-art corporate campus that fosters a one-company culture and promotes open communication, employee well-being and collective creativity.
Located in LakePointe Corporate Center, the corporate campus weaves natural themes through its sprawling 32 acres and includes lavish outdoor amenities. Three LEED Gold® certified buildings with more than 400,000 square feet serve as home to more than 900 employees from two divisions and support functions. The campus also contains their largest Innovation Center, as well as the Customer Engagement Center and a Pavilion for special events. Employees are able to enjoy a number of campus amenities including a Bistro, Coffee House, indoor/outdoor dining areas, Health Coach and Fitness Center.
The design team of tvsdesign and HOK helped Sealed Air reimagine how its people work by moving them to 100 percent unassigned individual spaces. Business groups and teams occupy flexible “neighborhoods” with formal and informal collaboration spaces. Depending on their needs for the day, employees can elect to use an open workspace, open or enclosed meeting rooms, or private rooms for heads-down work.
The entire campus is shared by all employees with amenities including a central cafeteria, outdoor dining spaces, a coffee shop, a fitness center, two ponds and walking trails.
We are confident that the site Sealed Air has selected for its new global headquarters will allow us to fully execute our vision of constructing a unique, technologically advanced facility that flows in harmony with its natural surroundings.
